I just posted the new version a little while ago tonight. All I can say is, big jump. The newest one isn't perfect, I lost my drawing under my colors, and the jaw and chin went awry. I also hate drawing short hair.
But still... my original was a sketch on plain printer paper, painted with acrylic paint so the paper warped and bubbled underneath. No decent shading to be found. It was a mess, and I drew it without a reference, something I never do now.
Ugh.
